A Poem for the Wedding of Jon and Marilyn
On a fine day in San Jose,
Marilyn and Jon got it on -
and here they've come to be joined as one
all legal and nice, tho' this really makes twice
this phenomenon came to be,
for we plainly see that it's not two, it's three -
including young Jeremy!
So on a hot summer night it's uptight and outasight.
The roses red and yellow are making us mellow
and the evening sky is getting us high.
This wedding is hip 'cause it's such a good trip,
and this mellow format is where it's at.
Now let's move on and marry this gal and this dude
so we can make it to their place for some ravioli food!
